W.I.N. | What Is Noteworthy
If you are reading this message, you are winning! Each day you wake up, you are winning. You never know what a day might hold, but remember that each day holds something worthy of gratitude. Don't let a single thing ruin what would otherwise have been a great day. At the end of each day, I encourage you to think about your win.
This idea came to me during a rather busy day at work. My wife and I call each other every day on our way home. We usually engage in the normal small talk, asking, "How was your day…" I remember explaining how my day was busy, but I got a great deal on some supplies I ordered for work. I thought for a second how, even though my day was stressful, that one win made it a little better. I suggested that we start discussing our win for the day when we call each other at the end of the workday.
This thought was triggered by something a guy I used to carpool with used to do when we were on our way home from work. The first thing we would do when we got in the car was say if we won or lost that day. However, here, I don't want to focus on the losses but the wins.
I would like to think that even through tough days, if we search for even a small victory, it can overshadow a less than desirable day. No matter what challenges you face that day, you always have some wins.

I was in Home Depot and I found a credit card on the floor. I turned it into a guy in customer service. He paged the name on the card over the intercom, and it was returned to the rightful owner. As I was leaving the store the guy in customer service found me and said how thankful card owner was for getting it back.
